Terms and Conditions

Effective date: October 2, 2026

Welcome to Steadyworks. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of steadyworks.org (the “Site”) and the courses and digital materials we sell (together, the “Services”). By using the Site, creating an account, or purchasing a course, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Who we are

The Services are provided by Steadyworks (“Steadyworks,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). You can contact us any time at hello@steadyworks.org.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and able to enter into a binding agreement, to purchase from us or create an account. By using the Services, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

Your account

To access a course, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account. Please notify us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

Purchases, pricing, and payment

Prices for our courses are listed on the Site and are shown in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. We may change prices, run promotions, or update our offerings at any time, but changes will not affect orders you have already placed. Payments are processed securely by our payment processor, Stripe. You are responsible for any taxes that may apply to your purchase. By completing a purchase, you authorize us (through Stripe) to charge your chosen payment method for the amount shown at checkout.

Your license to use our courses

When you purchase a course, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to access and use that course and its materials for your own personal, non-commercial use. This license is for you alone. You may download any materials we make available (such as workbooks) for your personal use.

Intellectual property

All content in our courses and on the Site — including videos, text, workbooks, graphics, logos, and other materials — is owned by Steadyworks or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the personal-use license above, you may not copy, reproduce, republish, sell, rent, share, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written permission.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Share your account or login credentials with others, or let others use your access
  • Copy, record, download (except where we expressly allow it), or redistribute our course content
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any part of the Services
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, other users’ accounts, or our systems
  • Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could harm the Site, our business, or other users

We may suspend or terminate access for anyone who violates these rules.

Refunds

Refunds are handled according to our Returns and Refund Policy, which is part of these Terms. Please review that policy for details on our money-back guarantee and how to request a refund.

Educational content — not medical or professional advice

Our courses and materials are provided for general educational and informational purposes only. They are based on general research and personal experience, and they are not medical, psychological, or professional advice, and are not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. Everyone’s body, health, and circumstances are different. You should consult a doctor or other qualified professional before making changes that could affect your health, sleep, or safety, and you should never disregard or delay seeking professional advice because of something you learned from our Services. If you ever feel unsafe — for example, too impaired to drive — use your own judgment and do not put yourself at risk. You are responsible for how you use the information in our courses.

No guarantee of results

We share tools and strategies that we believe are genuinely helpful, but we cannot and do not guarantee any specific outcome. Results depend on many factors unique to you, including how you apply what you learn. Your success is your own responsibility.

Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that the content will meet your particular needs.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Steadyworks and its owner will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Services. To the extent we are found liable, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid us for the course giving rise to the claim.

Third-party services and links

The Services rely on and may link to third-party tools and websites (such as our payment processor and embedded video hosting). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms.

Termination

We may suspend or end your access to the Services if you violate these Terms or use the Services in a way that could harm us or others. You may stop using the Services at any time. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will continue to apply.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective date” at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes relating to these Terms or the Services will be handled in the courts located in Connecticut, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
